How this page reads

What we buy, where, and why it earns a place

This page covers what we buy, where we buy it, and how we decide which channels earn a place in your plan.

The mix depends on your goal, your margin and how well your tracking works. We would rather run two channels properly than six badly — and the sections below explain what each channel is actually good at.

The channels we buy, and the job each one does

Seven buying surfaces, each with a different tolerance for budget, patience and measurement. Read them as a comparison, not a menu you have to order from.

Programmatic buying

Automated, auction-based purchase of inventory across sites, apps, connected TV and digital screens.

Default layer

Display advertising

Reach, retargeting and awareness — if the placement list is curated and viewability is checked.

Reach and return

Search advertising

Harvests demand that already exists, provided the landing page answers the query.

Demand capture

Video advertising

Mobile-first, captioned, front-loaded, cut in several lengths for feed, pre-roll and vertical.

Attention

Retail media

Advertising inside a retailer's own site, app or marketplace, close to the point of purchase.

Proximity to sale

Digital out-of-home

Screens in malls, transport, gyms and offices, bought programmatically as pDOOH.

How we choose the mix

Four questions, then we cut the plan down

We look at four things: what you are selling, how long the decision takes, what you can measure, and what you can afford to spend before results appear. A long B2B cycle needs different patience than a retail promotion.

Then we cut. Most plans start with two or three channels and a measurement setup, and expand only after the first read. If a channel cannot be justified against your data, it comes out, even if it is fashionable.

Discuss a media plan

Send your goal, market and rough budget range and we will tell you which channels fit before you commit to any of them.

Programmatic buying as the default layer

Programmatic buying is automated, auction-based purchase of ad inventory: websites, apps, connected TV and digital screens. In Poland it is no longer an experimental line item — it is how most display and video inventory gets bought.

What you get from running it well: reach across many publishers instead of one, frequency control so people are not hit eight times a day, and reporting you can reconcile with your own analytics. The delivery layer that connects Polish inventory to broader demand includes international vendors such as Perion, which matters if you need scale beyond a single local network.

Display, reconsidered

Where display still earns its line

Display gets dismissed too easily. It is a poor direct-response channel and a reasonable reach, retargeting and awareness channel — especially when creative is built mobile-first rather than shrunk down from desktop.

The practical question is placement quality. A curated list of sites and apps, plus viewability and invalid-traffic checks, usually beats open exchange reach for the same money. That is not a secret, it is just work that some buyers skip.

Search advertising and intent

Search captures demand that already exists. If someone types your category into a search engine, you want to be there, and the auction economics are well understood.

Where teams go wrong: paying for traffic that would have arrived anyway, sending clicks to a page that does not answer the query, and treating search as a growth channel when it is mostly a harvesting one. Search pairs well with display and video, which create the demand search then collects.

Video advertising in a mobile-first market

Most video views in Poland happen on a phone, often without sound, often in a feed. Creative built for a 30-second TV slot does not transfer.

What works better: short, captioned, front-loaded, and produced in several lengths so the same idea can run in a feed, a pre-roll and a vertical format. Video also carries into connected TV and digital screens, which is where the format is growing.

Retail media and commerce media

Retail media means advertising inside a retailer's own environment, on their site, app or marketplace. In Poland this is formalizing quickly, and Allegro is the reference point: its investor materials identify ads and off-platform ads as strategic growth areas.

For brands, the appeal is proximity to purchase and first-party data. The catch is that retail media networks each have their own reporting, their own targeting logic and their own definitions. Comparing them fairly takes work.

Digital out-of-home and pDOOH

Digital out-of-home is screens in public space: malls, transport, gyms, offices. The programmatic version, pDOOH, lets those screens be bought through automated platforms with data-driven triggers, which turns a fixed-format medium into something closer to addressable.

Polish adtech companies including Hybrid have been active in building programmatic access to this inventory. What has changed is measurability: you can now tie screen exposure to time of day, location and, with the right setup, to downstream online behaviour.

B2B advertising on LinkedIn

For technology, consulting and software clients, LinkedIn is where professional audiences actually are in Poland. It supports account-based targeting and thought-leadership formats that most consumer platforms cannot replicate.

It is also expensive per click, which punishes sloppy targeting. A defined account list and a small number of strong creative variants tends to outperform broad campaigns with layered audiences.

Reporting you can use

Every engagement includes a reporting setup agreed before launch: which metrics, at what cadence, in what format. Not a monthly PDF nobody opens, but a view of spend, delivery, cost per outcome and quality signals.

We reconcile platform numbers against your analytics where possible, because they will differ. Knowing why they differ is more useful than pretending they match.

See how we work

Questions clients ask first

Three things come up before every first plan: budget floor, language, and who makes the creative.

Do you require a minimum media budget?

We do not publish a hard floor, but programmatic and video need enough volume to optimize meaningfully. Retail media and pDOOH can work on tighter budgets with narrow targeting.

Can you run campaigns in languages other than Polish?

Yes. We plan and report in Polish and English, and we have run campaigns targeting audiences outside Poland.

Do you produce creative?

We direct creative requirements and work with production partners. For video and display we usually specify formats and variants rather than shoot from scratch.
